Monday, October 21, 2019

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Kuwait Chapter) organized a factory visit to the popular KITCO factory exclusively for the children of its members.

There was an overwhelming response and around 70 children were all excited to visit a factory probably for the first time. To make it a memorable, City Bus were gracious enough to arrange a double decker bus for this journey. This was another first for many of the children. The journey from Salmiya garden to the factory was full of laughter, fun and adventure.

The objective of this factory visit was to expose the children to a live production environment, the work culture and the various processes that go in to making their favourite snack items. The children keenly observed the functioning of the machines handling huge quantities of potatoes, flours and other raw materials and finally the packing assembly line. At the end of the visit each child was presented with gift hamper by KITCO comprising of their freshly produced products.

CA Sai Devata, Chairman of ICAI Kuwait Chapter, thanked all the participants and volunteers for making the visit a success and mentioned that more such programs are in the offing to encourage camaraderie among members and their families.

The Kuwait Chapter is gratefully acknowledges the support of KITCO and City Bus for giving the children a memory for a lifetime.
