Demographics Committee submitted its reports on population imbalance

The Demographics Committee has submitted its reports with proposals and recommendations to handle the population structure imbalance and find suitable solutions.

According to Al-Qabas daily report, the recommendations include closing down outlets that have not renewed their licenses or modified their situations one year after the citation was filed against them, and doubling the sanctions on residency traffickers to six-year imprisonment and/or fines of KD 4,000.

In its report, the committee stressed the need to automated interface among five bodies – Public Authority for Manpower, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, and Public Authority for Industry – to limit the manipulation in a number of employment cases.
