DGCA issued circular to regulate the sale and marketing of airline tickets

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) recently issued a circular to regulate the sale and marketing of tickets in Kuwait’s air transportation market, Al-Qabas daily reported quoting sources.
According to the report, the circular, which was sent by DGCA to travel and tourism agents and offices, urging them not to sell tickets at a lesser price than the market price without the approval and authorization of airlines, before issuing travel tickets to people.
The sources says that some offices issue travel tickets at prices less than the market price and without the airline’s approval; thereby incurring increased debt which eventually becomes difficult to pay.
