Isn’t it good to meet your favorite Disney character Elsa and Anna at the Frozen Palace? Yahoo, I got an opportunity to meet them and hug them. It was my long time fantasy that came to life...

March 2019, I visited USA along with my family. I was so excited and eager to visit Disney world on the 10th day of our American tour. The day had finally come when we arrived in Florida from Austin. We got ready at 8:30am and our pick up bus took us to Disney World which was just a 15 minute drive from our hotel.

Amazing, I am at the entrance of Disney World - Epcot. I can see huge numbers of people visiting from various parts of the world. I can see the mono rail coming from various inns associated with Epcot above me. Flower Blossoms and garden all around. I can see infants and the elderly on wheel chair coming to see the world famous and so called happiest place on earth: Disney World. The sight is so spectacular that I think I am dreaming. I truly acknowledge satisfaction of being an 8 year old at this moment.

Ha, now coming back to reality, I started searching for Frozen Castle as soon as I entered. I grabbed the mobile from my dad and searched for the location of the Palace on the Disney mobile app. It’s such a big place that I’m certain I will get drained out before the end of the day. Be that as it may, it’s alright, I am so energized and excited to be here…

I saw a long queue on one side and realized that it must be something famous, I hollered to my dad ‘it’s the Frozen Palace’, and pulled him to that area. We needed to remain in a long line alongside a lot of people from various States of America and around the Globe. We stood in queue for around 2 hours…. and finally reached the place where Elsa and Anna were meeting and greeting the children. A woman came to lead us into their room.

I saw Elsa looking at me smiling and waiting to talk to me. I was so excited to see Elsa. I was wearing the Frozen theme T-shirt and Elsa noticed that! She asked me “Wow, are you wearing the Frozen T-shirt?!” She was tall and beautiful and I was so mesmerized by her long blonde hair and icy, blue outfit. At that point she embraced me and my dad clicked few photos with her.

And then comes my turn to meet Anna. The woman led me to her and Anna warmly greeted and hugged me. She asked me; where I was coming from and showed me her Palace and conversed with me for around 2 minutes. I was in a different world taken over by her smiling face and lovely brown eyes that I couldn’t hear anything that was happening around me. I was still trying to figure out what all she told me!! We clicked pictures with Anna to capture this moment for memories.

All this time I liked Elsa better than Anna, yet in the wake of meeting them my loyalty has changed, presently I like Anna better than Elsa.

Then we moved to the zone for the famous Frozen boat ride. Another long line ahead; it will take another wait of 1.5 hours for this ride. That is alright I was waiting to experience all this anyway. And it was time for us to hop on the boat, it was mind blowing for me to listen to the Frozen theme song ‘Let it go’ while we were riding in the boat. I was so stunned when I saw Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, Bulda singing on either side while we were cruising along and passing through a cave which I really enjoyed. This is what I was longing for my entire Disney trip.

Later in the evening I met my mother’s favorite child hood character Cinderella and she asked me ‘Are you scared of dragons?’ I was a bit confused and I said ‘Yes’ she also asked my brother ‘do you fight dragons of the kingdom?’ He was also baffled by the question.

My father was so thrilled to listen to Air Supply’s musical concert there at the park that day. We spent 12hrs at ‘Epcot’ from 9am to 9pm and we returned back to our hotel around 9.30pm tired out from the long day. I would say we had an extremely pleasant day. It was a day I will always remember in my life.

We likewise experienced various rides like Soarin (click to view), Fast track, Mission Earth, Nemo and so on. I would recommend others not to miss these rides when you get an opportunity to visit any Disney Park. Disney World is bigger than Disney Land at California, so I suggest that it’s better to visit Disney World at Florida. BTW we also visited Universal Studio and Kennedy Space Center over the next two days.

Disney has 4 parks, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom and other water amusement parks. If you like to see your favorite cartoon characters, Animal Kingdom is the place to go.

Magic Kingdom is for kids below 8 years and Epcot is for people and kids above 8 years.
