National Forum(NAFO) Kuwait conducted its Virtual Kudumbasangamam

National Forum(NAFO) Kuwait, a leading non-profit, socio-cultural organization in the country conducted its Virtual Kudumbasangamam on March 26th . As the world is going through tough times and we are facing new challenges in every field, it is of utmost importance to bring positivity, hope and normalcy to our lives. The event began with the soulful rendition of the prayer by Ms. Shreya Zubin was presided over by NAFO President Shri.C.P.Rajiv Menon and The NAFO General Secretary, Shri. Vijay Kumar Menon delivered the welcome address. Shri. K. C. Gopakumar presented the organizational brief. Ms. Bhavana, the compered the event and took the members through the fun-filled evening. NAFO takes pride in the achievements of its younger generation, and to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work put in by the students, honours the meritorious performances every year. This time around Ms. Anjana Ravi Prasad, Ms. Gourika Menon, Mr. Vishnu Narayanan Vinod Kumar, Ms. Rhea Santhosh and Ms. Vyshnavi Madhusudhanan were honoured for their exemplary performances in the 10th CBSE exams. Students leaving Kuwait for their further studies were bid a warm farewell. NAFO Advisory Board Member Shri. Vijayan Nair, Treasurer Shri. Pradeep Kumar TKV and NAFO ladies wing Vice Co-ordinator Ms. Anju Ginu felicitated the children and wished them luck for the future. Ms. Advaita Unnikrishnan was awarded the Young Achiever's Award for her accomplishments and achievements in various fields. The ladies wing coordinator, Mrs. Sheeba Shaiju was presented with a special award for her participation in Online kalotsavam. The function also marked the culmination of the Kalotsavam 2021 that had started on March 18 and saw over 175 children participate across 20 different events. The winners of the various competitions were announced and congratulated during the Kudumbasanganam. NAFO values the feedback of all of its members and in line with this ,The Open Forum, moderated by Mr. Anish Nair, welcomed any suggestions and comments that members had to offer. The Program was successfully concluded with the formal vote of thanks delivered by event convener Mr Unnikrishnan Kurup. The event is a testament to NAFO's commitment to keeping the members together and closely bonded, despite the numerous challenges and disruptions brought by the Pandemic.
