Traffic Department receives 66,689 complaints via WhatsApp

The General Traffic Department received 66,689 complaints on its “WhatsApp” number since its launch in May 2020.

The administration said in a press statement yesterday all complaints and reports have been dealt with, saying 764 complaints have been referred to the traffic engineering department, while the police patrols dealt 21,441 reports of traffic violations, and 284 reports were dealt with by the control room.
