Security officer died in a run-over incident at check point

A security officer from the General Traffic Department at a traffic check point died on the spot in a hit-and-run incident during the curfew hours.

According to report, he was run-over by a motorist while he was performing his duty at a checkpoint at the Al-Maghrib highway intersection with the First Ring Road.

The man behind the wheel, wearing a military cloths, was caught in an unstable condition and was arrested.
