AMU Old Boys’ Association Kuwait organized sports meet 2023 in SIMS on 7th & 8th September 2023. It was a 2 days event started from Thursday and ended on Friday night.
The Alig fraternity attended it with ecstasy and sportsman spirit. Both indoor and outdoor sports were organized in a very systematic manner successfully in two days. There were sports like football, 100 meters race, carom, chess, Table Tennis, badminton. The event was organized in such a way that people of all the age group participated and enjoyed from Kindergarten student to seniors and super seniors. Ladies and gents got equal opportunities to showcase their talent and triumphed the victory. It can be considered as a big family sports event.

The winners and the runners up were conferred medals and trophies by the President & advisory committee members and other senior members present there.
Refreshments were distributed on the both the days and dinner was also organized on the closing ceremony.
The members of the AMUOBA Executive committee team under the leadership of the President Mr. Aslam Parvez worked tirelessly for the success of the event.

To organize an event it takes lot of effort, to conduct it flawlessly every sport has its coordinator from the Executive Council and they are being helped by volunteers from General Body.

Syed Nadeem Iftikhar Khan coordinated the sports meet, supported by other respective group coordinators from Executive Council. Mr. Adil Sareer, Mr. Yusuf Abdullah, Mr. Ahmad Imroz, Mr. Asif Equbal, Mr. Masroor Alam, Mr. Taqui Hasan, Mrs. Shazia Mansoor, Mr. Kashif Husain & Mr. Faraz Shamsi,

Sarah.M. Maseeh, Adeeba Sattar Noorie, Samia. M. Maseeh, Ayesha Asim voluntarily helped for the success for the event.

Voluntary support from seniors Mr. Nisar Khan, Dr. Anis Ahmed (director SIMS), Mr. Ilyas Ahmad Khan & Mr. Mohammad Salman Siddiqui needs special thanks & appreciation as without their support the event wouldn’t have been successful.

AMUOBA express its gratitude to all members of the association for their active participations to make the event grand success.

Every year AMUOBA organizes sport meet to stay fit and healthy, in an improvised manner. It give chance to the entire Alig community in Kuwait to relive their sports instinct and in doing so they earn many accolades.
