Friends of Kannur Kuwait Expats’ Association (FOKE) organized their 18th Annual General Body

Friends of Kannur Kuwait Expats’ Association (FOKE) organized its 18th anniversary celebration at Abbasiya Oxford Pakistani English School with a simple ceremony.

FOKE President Xavior Anthony presided over the program held on January 26, which was inaugurated by Dar Al Saha Polyclinic Marketing Manager - Nitin Menon. The release of "Mudita", an e-souvenir released as part of the 18th anniversary, was carried out by handing over of the Souvenir to Nithin Menon by Sub-Committee Member Akhilashree Shabu.

Gifts were handed over during the ceremony to Balavedi children Rithunanda Biju & Anwvaya Balakrishnan, who suggested the name of the souvenir, Rajeev Devanandanam, who designed the cover page of Souvenir and to all Malayalam teachers, who devote their time in teaching mother tongue to kids hailing from all Kerala through-out the year. Also, Meritorious Awards were given to the children of the FOKE members, who excelled in classes 10 and 12 at the annual function. The ceremony was led by Program Convener IV Sunesh and Joint Convener Dilip Kumar.

FOKE Treasurer Sabu Nambiar expressed vote of thanks for the meeting while General Secretary Vijayakumar NK welcomed the audience for the meeting.
