Maurya Kala Parisar (MKP) holds AGM

Maurya Kala Parisar Kuwait held its physical Annual General Body Meeting and Members’ Dinner at Rajdhani Palace on Friday 1st February 2024. Families and kids were excited by interacting with each other and had great fun. There was walk in Karaoke and games. On spot prizes and games created a lot of excitement and the hall was full of running kids from parents to stage.

Maurya Kala Parisar held its physical Annual General Body on 1st February 2024 at Rajdhani Palace approving its accounts, reviewing its performance. Also, as two years term of Executive Committee had ended a new Executive Committee was elected as follows:

President Nitin Prabhakar said “Maurya Kala Parisar is one of the oldest Indian Community Associations in Kuwait and represents two states of Bihar and Jharkhand. It’s three premium events Ethnic Food Festival, Dinkar Hindi Awards and Maurya Manch have been a regular feature of Indian Diaspora calendar. The new committee plans to hold these and many more events.”
During the pandemic the Association kept its members engaged with virtual dance and music events. On the call of Indian Embassy to celebrate 75th Year of Independence a Virtual Event was held which was accompanied by a message from the Indian Ambassador.

The association has enjoyed a lot of patronage from Media for its events and hopes the relationship will continue
