Several violations reported in Jleeb

The traffic operation sector, along with officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Public Authority for Industry, the General Administration of Residence Investigations conducted a campaign at informal garages operated in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and issued several violations.

The campaign was conducted after the Interior Ministry received many complaints about the presence of an unlicensed industrial zone in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.

During the campaign, authorities issued 210 traffic violations, seized 6 vehicles, 7 warning issued to various locations to complete the legal procedures followed against them, in addition to issuing two pledge reports for two violating workshops.

Kuwait Municipality inspectors closed an industrial workshop, after it was discovered that it contained a restaurant and a factory for manufacturing alcoholic materials. Officials also placed 72 stickers for abandoned vehicles, issuing 14 violations to workshops that used outdoor spaces, and removed 8 neglected vehicles and scraps, and they were referred to the municipal impound garage.

Inspectors from the Ministry of Electricity and Water disconnected the power from 37 garages and workshops that were found to be in violation and operating without a license. They also placed 12 warning stickers and summons for other violating workshops.

Public Authority for Industry issued 14 violations to workshops and garages used as housing for workers.
