Chances of rain from Saturday afternoon

Kuwait Meteorological Department said that the country is expected to witness light to moderate rains starting Saturday afternoon, and may continue till Sunday evening.

According to the latest forecasts from numerical models and weather maps, the country will be affected by an extension of a surface depression together with a cold and atmospheric depression.

The chances of rain will increase with thunderstorms on Sunday evening, with chances of hail storm in some areas, Meteorological Department said.

The weather is expected to improve from Monday noon, it added.
