Two people arrested for selling fire crackers

Officials from the Public Security Sector at Jahra Governorate carried out a security and inspection campaign on the Kabd area arrested two people for selling fire crackers.

The team conducted inspection on mobile grocery stores and street vendors in the area and removed a number of mobile grocery stores operated in violation of the law.

Kuwait had earlier banned the sale of all types of fireworks, water piston, water balloons etc ahead of the national day celebration.

Meanwhile, the acting undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, said that necessary legal measures will be taken against any violators, specially those using water balloons during the celebrations.
