Make use of Amnesty before it ends; 68 residency law violators arrested

68 Residency and Labor Law violators, who did not benefit from the specified deadline to amend their status, were arrested from Farwaniya, Al-Ahmadi, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

According to Ministry of Interior, 43 Residency Law violators were arrested during an inspection campaigns in Farwaniya and Shuwaikh Industrial area.

Another campaign by the tripartite committee in the Al-Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorates resulted in the arrest of 25 Residency and Work Law violators of various nationalities.

The Ministry of Interior called on violators of the residency law to take advantage of the amnesty period to amend their status or leave the country without getting blacklisted. The Amnesty period will end on June 17th.
