Kuwait Kannada Koota Celebrates Success of Sahithya Sankalpa Parva - Marala Mallige Day

Under the esteemed leadership of the 2024 Executive Committee—President Mr. Anant Mangalgi, Vice President Mr. Praveen Shetty Shankat, Secretary Mr. Chethan Cheluvaraj, and Treasurer Mr. Sharan Gouda Patil—the Kuwait Kannada Koota hosted its much-anticipated Sahithya Sankalpa Parva - Marala Mallige Day on May 17, 2024, at ICSK Khaitan. The event was a grand success, marked by cultural vibrancy and community spirit.

The Marala Mallige Committee, led by Convenor Dr. Guruprasad Subbarao and Co-Convenor Mr. Girish Shenoy, orchestrated a well-coordinated series of events that included a variety of Kannada literature competitions. These competitions ranged from traditional activities such as "Chinnara Chilipili" and "Janapada Dance" to innovative contests like "Best out of Waste." The thoughtfully designed competitions showcased the diverse talents within the community and fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants.

A major highlight of the evening was the enthralling performance by Miss Ananya Bhat and her talented ensemble. Accompanied by Mr. Manjunath Sattyasheel on drums, Mr. B.S. Venugopala Raju on tabla, Mr. Sharan Rao on keyboard, and Mr. Abhishek MB on flute, Miss Ananya Bhat's captivating vocals created an enchanting atmosphere that mesmerized the audience. Her performance featured multiple songs presented in different tones and styles, showcasing her versatility and artistry.

The audience was so moved by Miss Ananya Bhat's musical talent that she and her team received a standing ovation, marking the highlight of the Marala Mallige Day and adding an unforgettable touch to the event.
