Kuwait Airways and Thai Airways announce code share partnership

As part of its tireless efforts to diversify its network around the world, Kuwait Airways announced the signing of a codeshare partnership with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), by which THAI’s code will be used for flights between Kuwait and Bangkok, and also from Kuwait to destinations in Europe including Rome and Athens, and Kuwait national carrier’s code will be used for THAI flights between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur starting 26th June, 2024. The agreement will take the partnership between the two carriers to new heights, while providing greater opportunities to passengers in Kuwait and Thailand.
Captain Ahmad M. Alkreebani, Chief Executive Offi cer, Kuwait Airways, stated, “Kuwait Airways is pleased to sign this important agreement with Thai Airways which will enhance commercial and tourism relations between Kuwait and Thailand. Both Kuwait Airways and THAI will work closely to offer the best services to passengers and improve customer experience.”
Alkreebani added, “Passengers will be able to book these flights directly through our websites or the travel agents’ reservation systems. Furthermore, this codeshare agreement will further enhance the relationship between the two airlines and between the two friendly countries, Kuwait and Thailand.” Alkreebani continued by saying, “Kuwait Airways is keen to provide a wide network of new destinations and additional options to its valued passengers in response to its growing demand for sought-after destinations such as Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and others, providing various diverse opportunities for passengers.”
Alkreebani concluded by saying, “The agreement will provide better travel options and connectivity to the customers of Kuwait Airways and THAI. Both airlines have also agreed to explore additional possibilities of cooperation. I extend my congratulations to the Kuwait Airways and THAI team members for their contribution in finalizing the agreement.”
