dear all,
i had gone for my car passing last thursday at daman car inspection and just before completing the process the guy at the counter told me that some electricity dues are pending and asked me to clear it from mew. i was quite surprised since electricity is part of the rent that i am paying to the landlord and has been so for the past 6 years. hence logically no electricity meter in my name. i am unable to see the dues in the mew website after putting in my old meter number.
also my residence renewal was done by my sponsor just 10 days back and normally all pending dues are required to be settled at this time.
in my previous flat the electricity meter was in my name and i had cancelled the meter from my name and even received the deposit from mew more than 6 years back. hence request to kindly clarify :
1. have any of you have faced similar issues where mew dues are getting reflected many years later.
2. how can i clear these dues? is there any specific mew office for enquiring and clearing old dues.
3. in case the dues are unreasonably high, any way we can contest these dues (i used to regularly clear these dues when meter was in my name).
request experience people to kindly clarify

hi,
currently i am working in a private company as mechanical engineer. i came to kuwait through factory visa (i was not knowing earlier). now i found a better opportunity in another company. unfortunately i am not able to transfer locally because the new company has only project visa and transfer from factory visa to project visa is not allowed in kuwait.
the new company had agreed to provide new visa for me. in this case i have to cancel my current visa along with my dependent visas. also my passport have validity upto october 2025.
please help me by clarifying my doubts:
1. will my civil id number be changing when i come back on new visa?
2. i got licence very recently. in case of visa cancellation will my licence be cancelled? can i get back my licence after residency stamping?
3. i have kse membership upto 2025. will my membership be active when i come back on new visa?
4. is there any issue to get dependent visa even i can meet the salary requirement. i heard that there are some issues with new work permit format and because of that dependent visa is difficult to get.
5. is there any chance i can transfer locally from factory visa to project visa.
6. is there any chance i can cancel my visa without cancellation of dependent visa. they have valid visa till 2025. i am expecting to return back in kuwait by august 2024.
the sad thing is i resigned from the current company without knowing the factory visa issue.

newly i arrived in kuwait 6 april 2024 and on 8 april i did biomatric in ahmadi, now i received iznamal on 28 april but iqama yet not issued, office secretary says that your finger print notification report yet not come. what to do next actual please any one guide. i ask to some typing center they said that tell your mandoop to go office/company address jawajat and take a follow up they can do easily. what should i do, anyone know other ways please guide how much time it takes for updates in jawajat after given biomatric.

i have done my fingerprint on 18 april -2024,and as per company mandoup that it''s still not updating online from moi until or unless they can''t apply for residency also.
then, they had taken 2nd appointment of fingerprint and we went to jahra and ,the police guy said don''t need to do it again.it might will take time like one or two months to be reflected.
anybody else is facing the same thing or can you please suggest what to do next ! kindly advise ??

does anyone know of a shaded/ covered long term parking place in kuwait?.
i do not want to keep at the kuwait airport long term parking due to safety of the vehicle and mostly during jun to aug- the place is practically full.

i got already visit visa and my family is coming in visit visa i have original copy with me visas i booked the ticket in jazeera airways please can any one tell me where i should submit my original visa marehab service is only for kuwait airways passengers or jazeera airline passengers also can give the original visa to marehab service please if any one knows the procedure after getting the visa what we need to do if ticket is jazeera, shull i need to send india via courier service or shull i submit to marehab service

i need suggestion for good child psychologist for my 4.5 year daughter. she is not talking to outsider, even with other kids in her class & playschool and building. but she speaks in our home with us. outside she goes completely mute. its started affecting her daily routing now. we stay in salmiya.

recently bought my wife and finished all the processes including medical and fingerprint , as for the iqama process i went to a typing centre where they did the "first time registration of family members" on sahel app and i m waiting to receive the payment link for civil id. my question is do i need to go somewhere else or is there any more process remaining ? normally they would take your housing contract for the civil id address but nothing was taken done so far at the typing centre , can anyone who has done the process recently for a family member explain if i m missing to do something ?

i am reaching out regarding an issue i encountered while attempting to check in for my upcoming indigo flight tonight. upon attempting to select my seat, i was unexpectedly prompted to make an additional payment of 1.800 kd for seat selection. this is despite originally booking with the free seat.
moreover, when attempting to proceed with the payment online, as the process seemed to stall.
so, wish to inquire if anyone else has experienced a similar situation and, if so, how they were able to resolve it. any insights or guidance you could provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

my sister has a uk resident permit . do they get a visa on arrival on kuwait airport ? i heard before this option was there , now not sure.
i checked in e-visa site, in that it says only for uk us nationals e-visa possible. no mention about rp holders

dear iik friends,
i just want to ask for a favour to know more about absconding case filed by my employer in shoun.
actually i filed a case in shoun for the release and later after one month of my case my employer filed absconding.so it''s it''s been 15 days back only you can say they put me as absconder.
my question is can i exit from kuwait without any problem at immigration because the absconding must not be in the system of moi as it''s just few days back done by employer or it will reflect in the moi system too.because i heard if i am not wrong that only after 60 days it goes to moi system automatically.
can any one guide as my case is still in shoun running.

there is no schedule of air india for kuwait starting july . this is unusual as during this period air india has a lot of flights to mumbai, delhi etc. is air india cancelling its operations from kuwait ? i called their office they also have no information .

after working 24 years in kuwait, we have decided to wind- up and return to india. although i have stable job and salary also coming on time, i don’t like to work in a routine.
i visit india once in a year although i like to go out of kuwait frequently but don’t get leave easily. never ever attended wedding, birthdays, family functions in india so missing all those events.
made enough savings to survive next 20 years. own home so not rent headache.
the big question is what to do in india. i don’t like to work anymore else what is the point going back.

when contacted indian embassy (bls) to issue relationship affidavit to bring parents who are on indian passports, they refuse to give relationship affidavit to oci saying that foreign nationals cannot apply for relationship affidavit. i found this ridiculous as parents are indian passport holders and on the oci registration book issued by mea its mentioned the name of the parents just like ordinary indian passport.
is there any other way i can prove to the kuwait authorities my relationship with parents so they can issue a visit visa. any guidance will be highly appreciated.
note: i have a xerox of my birth certificate issued in india.

my friend having 400kd in iznamel and is engineer in private concern can he get family visa 22..?
there is no salary cap for 14 professionals in kuwait right!
i heard some people are getting visa 22 with only 350, 400 salary if profession mentioned in 14 category.

am trying to upload photo on paci site as per their requirement, but after receiving the otp the photo upload option is keep buffering on paci site so unable to complete the request. so i tried sahel app, there am able to load the documents but after submit button nothing is showing and coming back to same screeen.
if anyone recently this month updated the photo for civild id then kindly share how to do it and which platform.

hi i wanted to know if i can bring my family (wife and kid) on a family dependent visa if my salary is 850 kwd and if i am not an engineer. my designation is "sales man" in my izne amal, so please help me out with this question,
although i am an engineer but i don''t have a kse card due to many requirements from kuwait government, i tried to get one but my university is not accredited with nba and vice versa, so i do have a degree but in "izne amal" it is only written sales man.
please clarify to me if i can bring my family on 850 kwd as sales man.

my mother is 76 years old & i want to renew her ekama. i am her sponser. my questions are::
1) how much total expense is for ekama renewal and for max how many years i can renew at a time?
2) is it possible to do online for mother?
3) can i renew her ekama 3 months before? if yes, kindly let me know the procedure.
4) is her presence required during renewal process? is sponsor''s presence is required in renewal ?
