The official handover ceremony of the bore wells (Kuzhalkinar) built by the Friends of Kannur Kuwaiti Expats Association (FOKE) was held.
Trust Working Chairman I V Dinesh performed the official handover ceremony at a function held at Dharamshala Model School of the Blind. Adv. Tanyanathan welcomed and Praveen Master proposed vote of thanks. Family members of FOKE and the FOKE Trust were present at the event. FOKE former president Xavier Antony, Antur Municipal Council members Balakrishnan and TKV Narayanan, FOKE representatives VV Ramesh, Chandramohan Kannur and other FOKE Trust office bearers extended their greetings.
The official handover ceremony of the second tube well was held same day afternoon at Sneha Bhavan, Arayangad.
In a ceremony presided over by Brother MJ Stephen, the founder and president of Sneha Bhavan, which is a refuge for more than 350 destitutes, the tube well was officially handed over by the former FOKE President Xavier Anthony to the Sneha Bhavan officials. FOKE sports committee secretary Unnikrishnan received the felicitation. Trust Working Chairman IV Dinesh, Trust Executive Members Girimandiram Sasikumar and Ravi Kappadan greeted the guests and Sneha Bhavan Nursing Staff Member Ambili welcomed the event.
Along with the bore well, tree planting at both the locations was done by FOKE family members.
