Current situation doesn

The current situation in the country doesn't require a complete curfew, the head of the Supreme Advisory Committee for the Coronavirus Pandemic, Dr. Khaled Al-Jarallah said.

With the partial curfew, there is a stability in clinical occupancy rate and critical cases in the country, he said.

According to him, the infection is higher in investment housing areas, where a majority of expatriates are living. 65% of the infected are expatriates, he said.

As it is a known fact that there is a shortage in the supply of the vaccine globally, Kuwait is diligent in securing vaccines for all, including groups that may be included in the future - under the age of 16 - and booster doses if necessary, he said.

God Bless kuwait for keeping us safe. Honourable Avisory committee are right as there is no need full curfew. Present curfew is ideal as there is still lots of traffic as normal on highway till after 10 pm which allows everyone to still live life as normal. In Mahboula and Mangaf many come with their big cars to play football at 9pm and good people still try to stay healthy in these difficult times when can only use last bus till 6pm
